About

Hello!

I am Fiona Waters, a queer artist living and working on unceded Wurundjeri land. I am a project starter, and (mostly) project finisher.

I believe that everyone is an artist, and there should be no hierarchy in what art or artists should be seen as ‘good’ or ‘bad’!

I predominantly draw and paint, but also make lumpy ceramics, quilts, tapestries, sculptures, candles, failed knitted merkins, and toast.

I am one of the founding members of the World's Worst Wagga Guild  ; a scrap quilting collective that believes giving it your ‘worst’ can be giving it your ‘best’.

The WWW Guild works to democratise art making, foster community connections, promote wellbeing, reduce textile waste and increase people’s creative confidence.

Thanks for visiting my page,

Quilt you later!

Fiona.
